Giorgio’s Pizza
Indianapolis, IN
Not the ideal place I want to eat dinner but a good friend and I were stuck one night with about 20 min to grab some food before the fedex pick up time and decided a slice of pizza would do the trick. This is not
the greatest place since sliced
bread but was surprised how
good the NY style pizza was. The
owner (to my right) is from Sicily
and sauces and dough are made
fresh in house every day. Opened in
1990 and is about half a block off
of Monument Circle in downtown.
recommended:
Stuffed Pizza: pepperoni, sausage,
and mushroom
Stromboli: kind of like a
pizza turnover stuffed with mushrooms,
peppers, onions, ham, sausage,
pepperoni, mozzarella, and tomato
sauce. This blew me away, as good as
the ones I had in Rome. Good place
if your in a hurry and stick with the
Stromboli.
