Buttermilk Hill
Have no idea what you would be doing in Sylacauga, Alabama but if you are this place is not to be missed. Located about an hour south of Birmingham this husband and wife owned establishment is housed in a old 1904 Victorian home. Each room in the house has a few tables and makes it a comfortable setting with hard wood floors, fireplaces and a occasional train whistle in the background. Menu is incredible and changes frequently to what local southern produce is available. Save room for the cornbread strawberry shortcake, blew me away. Pleasant surprise to find something of this quality in such a rural area. Closed Sunday, Monday
