Herbsaint
Another one of my must haves in New Orleans. If you want to stay in the CBD area for dinner this is it. Their web site has a perfect description on this place so I am going to plagiarize it, although I will say it is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and watch the street cars go by at dusk.

w/Tasso and Okra.
Muscovy Duck Leg Confit w/Dirty
Rice and Citrus Gastrique.
Chocolate Beignets.

Avenue along the streetcar line and features

along with Southern staples such as Grits and
Dark Roux Gumbos. Joe Briand’s wine list covers all the world’s wine regions with an emphasis on France, especially the wines of Burgundy. The warehouse district building with its large windows and open, casual atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy Link’s menu as the St. Charles Avenue streetcars pass by.”
